My Short Films
Welcome to my shorts—crafting stories on screen. Each short marks a unique chapter in my development as a filmmaker, allowing me to experiment with directing, editing, and storytelling.
My 1st Short: SUPERBUS
At the age of 13, I created my first short, Superbus – A New Story Which Is the Same Old Story, filmed in Porto Vecchio, one of Trieste’s many historic film locations. The full film is available to
watch here.
Who I Am
“If it can be written, or thought, it can be filmed.” — Stanley Kubrick
My name is Thomas Senica. I’m a teenage filmmaker with a passion for history. After completing my time at Petrarca High School in Trieste, northeastern Italy—where I pursued classical studies—I’m now enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at Viborg Katedralskole in Denmark.
With Italian roots and strong ties to Belgium, Korea, and the UK, I create films in English, Italian, and French. Alongside my academic path, I’ve attended summer classes at the London Film Academy (LFA) and Cours Florent in Paris, experiences that have deepened my understanding of cinematic language and performance.
I find more inspiration in watching and studying films than in using social media—though you’re welcome to connect with me on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Letterboxd.
